Afterward, you’ll ascend Moses Mountain (Jebel Musa), either by foot or with the help of a camel, to reach the summit where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding desert and mountains. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, after which you will be transferred to St. Catherine.
Transfer by air-conditioned bus or Car to St. Catherine city at night will take 2.30 hours. Upon arrival, take a rest before heading to the mountain.
The ascent begins, and it takes three hours to climb to the summit of 2,285 meters above sea level. The long road will lead you to a stone staircase of 700 steps.
After overcoming this last part of the climb, you will find yourself at the top of the mountain. The ascent lasts 3 hours (from 2:00 to 5:00). Time is not chosen by chance; take a rest after climbing, and you will be rewarded for your hard work with a view of the sunrise, which is no less beautiful than anywhere else on the top of Jebel Musa. If you can't find your way around, you can hire a camel to take you to the beginning of the ladder.
After going down the mountain, you will visit St. Catherine's Monastery, which has been in continuous operation for 16 centuries. You will be taken to Dahab for some relaxation and lunch at a local restaurant in Dahab.
Then return to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
