Itinerary

In the morning, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned car to start your wonderful tour visit...

Prince Muhammad Ali Palace (Manual Palace)

Prince Muhammad Ali, one of the most significant Egyptian personalities, built this palace. The palace, now a museum, is divided into six buildings: the Reception Palace, the Clock Tower, the Mosque, the Hunting Museum, the Presidential Palace, and the Private Museum. It is beautifully decorated and surrounded by a beautiful garden.

Garbage City in Cairo

It was excavated in 1976 in the Mokattam mountain, the largest church in Egypt and even in the Middle East, with 20,000 people. Every Sunday, Cairo Christians meet there. To get to the monastery, you must cross the Zabbaleen, an area entirely dedicated to waste management in the capital and where garbage collectors live. So there is a relatively strong smell in the surroundings. It couldn't be more realistic! From the heights of Mokattam Mountain, you will have a beautiful panorama of Cairo.

City of the dead

The city of the dead is like a city in a cemetery ... or a graveyard in a town. The inhabitants live among the graves to the extent that the shrines resemble houses.

Baron Empain Palace

If you like ancient architecture, check out Baron Empain Palace, this reinforced concrete Hindu-style palace inspired by the Angkor Wat temple that blasts into views of Cairo. It was designed by a French architect and was inhabited by a Belgian industrialist who came to Egypt for a railway project. Several stories surround this residence, and it is said that the baron still haunts it.

Lunch

We'll take a break and take the opportunity to eat and recharge. Lunch will be in a restaurant and Egyptian food (drinks not included).

Islamic Quarter

This is one of my favorite parts of Cairo: the historic district. On Al-Muizz Street, you will find many historical monuments: mosques, Islamic schools, palaces, and hammams.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

You will visit Khan El Khalili, the famous Cairo market. It is always crowded with tourists and locals alike and is the beating heart of the Egyptian capital. Unleash yourself in the different markets where you will find everything and buy some excellent local handicrafts.

Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo.
